It's been a hectic few weeks for me, with my new studies, doing assessments and battling excruciating headaches! But I was able to colour in my second image for my GDT on artbymiran showcase blog... Here's "It's my party!" on a happy birthday template... I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you Mi Ran for the honour and privilege to appear on your GDT showcase blog, you are by far a very talented artist!

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Oh wow I can finally reveal the big news I recieved while we were away on holidays last month!! This one particular morning I was just briefly checking my messages and there was a message there that just lit my eyes up with so many emotions... excitement, shock, panic, honour did I mention excitement! I was asked to be a Guest Designer on Art By MiRan Showcase Blog!!!!! The theme for February is CAS (Clean and Simple) so I hope you like what I have created for this occasion!
Here I coloured ABM's "Valentine" digital image (which is available now in Mi Ran's store ) with my copic markers and also added in a little of glitter! There is lots of red, being for valentines and of course I love purple with red!
So stay tuned, I have another GDT spot later this month and it will be featuring another gorgeous ABM image! Can you guess which one I will pick out next?? ;)

Newly Weds....
To kick 2015 off, my little sister and her fiance decided they were going to elope! But just because they ran away to Mt Lofty in Adelaide to get married (the photos they had taken were just gorgeous!), doesn't mean I couldn't create a wedding card or two (yes my lovely mum shops with me for all her card needs! lol).
Firstly here's the card I made for the bride to be (we knew they were eloping but didn't know when)
The bride was coloured in using my copics and as my sister wasn't wearing white, I didn't give her a white dress in this pic! The image is "Tiffany" from Milk n Coffee Stamps.
Secondly, here's the card I made for my parents to give to our lovebirds...
This gorgeous image is called Newly Weds and was created by Margy and can be purchased HERE in DigiStamps4Joy store. Once again I coloured with copics and added in some purple flowers, ribbon and their initials.
And lastly, here's the card that my little family gave our runaway Bride n Groom!
This Wedding stamp was designed by Christina for Spesch Designer Stamps and can be purchased HERE in their web store. Backing paper here is actually just a snippet from wedding wrapping paper and the bells were cut from the same paper!
I know my sister and new brother-in-law were happy to receive these cards and I hope you enjoyed looking at them too!

Hi all!
Hope you have had a great weekend! It's Sunday night here in Oz and we have had a great weekend! I had my 2 nieces stay over on Friday night who wanted to do a spot of colouring with me, I didn't need much convincing to do anyway myself but after having a meltdown filled with self doubt because my skin blends weren't working for me, I put mine away and just watched them colour... I did come back to my colouring early yesterday morning and it flowed just nicely!
While checking out my favourite blogs this afternoon, I discovered that my entry into "Anything Goes Challenge #22" on artbymiran was awarded a top 3 pick winners! I am so over the moon and feel so honored to be involved with a great talented group of crafters, there were so many gorgeous entries! Make sure you follow the link by clicking on artbymiran and take a look at all the entries that have been uploaded to the challenge blog!
Have a great week! :D

Art by Miran - DT Call *ENTRY*
Oh boy.... was I an excited little kid at Christmas (again) when I saw that one of my most favourite artists was putting a call out for new members of her Design Team! Click on this image below to find out the details on her blog.
I was away on holidays with my family when I heard, and all I wanted to do was get cracking on my entry piece! But alas I didn't have everything I needed with me on holidays, namely a computer and a printer and since we are able to submit old creations as well, this is what I had to do in order to meet the cut off date.
So once again I would like to show to you my most recent "artbymiran" creation that features "Tulipa". I was very lucky to have been selected in a top 3 pick during a challenge on art by miran facebook group and Tulipa was my prize image! Tulipa was coloured using copics and techniques that I am learning in my online colouring classes. For this particular creation I wanted a CAS approach as I didn't want Tulipa getting lost.
Why would I like to be a designer for Art by Miran... I would love to be on the design team as I just love her images and love working with them! Its so beautiful and I love the way the stamps are so versatile as they can used in CAS, cards, detailed cards, can be coloured or monochrome. I would love love love the chance to able to work with Mi Ran and the rest of the design team who I really admire and yes they inspire me!
Yes, I might be new to blog-land, but I am keen and passionate about making cards which I have done for a few years now. This year I have been lucky to get a DT spot on Sweet 7 Designs Challenge Blog. I love a challenge and will do my utmost best on any topic you give me! So I welcome the opportunity to grow and show off Art by MiRan's gorgeous designs and hope that I am accepted onto the Design Team!
